Overview
PeakClips operates on a subscription model. This policy outlines what is and is not refundable, and how to request a refund.
Subscription Charges
All current plans are billed monthly, in advance, for the upcoming billing period. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as described below.
Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:
- 7-Day New Subscriber Window: if you are a new subscriber and cancel within 7 days of your first payment, you are eligible for a full refund of that initial charge. This applies once per account.
- Service Outage: if PeakClips experiences a verified service outage of 24 hours or more in a billing period due to our infrastructure failure (not third-party platform downtime), you may request a prorated credit for the affected days.
- Billing Error: if you were charged incorrectly (wrong amount, duplicate charge, etc.), we will correct it immediately with no time restriction.
What Is Not Refundable
- Subscription fees after the 7-day new subscriber window.
- Fees for billing periods during which you used the service, even partially.
- Unused pipeline runs or publishing capacity within a billing period.
- Fees for periods during which your account was suspended due to Terms of Service violations.
- Downtime caused by third-party platforms (Twitch, social media platforms, Upload-Post API, etc.).
How to Request a Refund
Email hello@peakclips.tv with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your account email and a brief description of the reason. We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
Disputes
If you believe a charge is unauthorized or you have a billing dispute, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension while the dispute is under review.
